Sometimes it can be difficult to come up with something fresh and new for marketing your business.
Here’s a quick tip that will give you plenty of ideas and marketing inspiration.
Look outside your industry!
Look at some of the advertisements that you get from other businesses that are completely different from yours.
What are they doing or offering that you might be able to tweak or modify for your own industry?
Another tip: look at businesses that are in your same industry but in a different location. For example, if you are in the US, what are your colleagues in Europe doing?
Are they offering different services or packages that no one here in the US is doing? Could you offer a similar service or package here for your clients?
Do they have any special features on their website that you could add to yours that other US businesses in your industry don’t have?
Be creative. If you get a postcard in the mail from a business that captures your attention, modify it to use for your business.
Your “To Do” item for the week: Do a search for other businesses in your industry but in different locations. Review their sites/marketing materials and see if they are doing something that you might bring to your clients. Review any marketing materials you receive this week from other industries and see how you might be able to incorporate some of the features that capture your attention into your own materials.
